Whooo's Reading is a program designed to assess student reading comprehension, as well as writing skills. At the conclusion of reading a text (book, story, article, etc.) students are asked to complete a test containing a combination of multiple choice and open ended questions pertaining to the content. When students successfully complete a test, they will earn a specific number of coins. If they submit answers that are in need of adjustment (spelling errors, grammatical errors, missing information, etc.) they are given an opportunity to correct these issues in order to earn more coins. These coins can then be used to purchase items for their Whooo's Reading Owl Avatar. At the end of each test, students are provided feedback pertaining to the areas where they excelled and the areas where improvement is needed.
