We are Hikari, Kaisei, Tamon, Shunosuke and Sho. Together, we are the SDG Rangers! We are here to help protect the SDGs. What are SDGs? These are the Sustainable Development Goals. The United Nations has written 17 goals to make the world a better place by the year 2030. This time, we are focusing on SDG #14 and SDG #15.

We imagined many ways that we can help protect the SDGs. Then we used Minecraft to create four scenarios where the SDG Rangers are protecting life below water and life on land.

The SDG Rangers travel on a giant airship called the Leviathan. From the Leviathan, we can use a helicopter or a shuttle jet to reach the four areas where we built a scenario. The Leviathan has rooms for the crew, the cargo, and the flight controls. Also there is a meeting room and an aircraft hangar under the flight deck. There is even a hydroponic garden to help keep the crew well-fed with fresh fruits and vegetables.

Our team has entered the Minecraft Cup, a national contest. We want to show the world how we learned about the SDGs through building in Minecraft. Now it is time to judge our work. What do you think? Have we done a good job showing the SDGs in our Minecraft world?
