About Me

My name is Lisa Dryzal. I am a first grade teacher at Johnstown Elementary in the Greater Johnstown School District located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. I have been teaching for 28 years, and have been loving every minute of it. I am a teacher, mentor, blogger, mother and wife. I have lived in Johnstown my entire life and grew up in the West End. I am a graduate of Greater Johnstown Vocational -Technical School and the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and have done graduate work at IUP and St. Francis University.

I have been married to my husband, John for 27 years and am the proud mother to our children, Hunter, who is a graduate of Penn State and works in the Agricultural Industry , and Madison, who is 17 and a senior in high school. We also have a German Shepherd named Karla. I enjoy crafts of all types, cooking, baking, attending our daughter's dance and music recitals, soccer games, camping and boating with my family in my free time.
