About Me

Mr. Pfeil has been the Director of Bands at Greater Johnstown High School since the fall of 2008. He graduated from IUP in the spring of 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education.

My roles at Greater Johnstown HS include teaching the Symphony Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, and general music classes.

During his college years, Mr. Pfeil instructed the Marching Band activity at Westmont Hilltop, DuBois Area and Elizabeth Forward. He was the director of the DuBois Area Indoor Percussion program in 2004. In the summer of 2005, Mr. Pfeil marched with the World Champion Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps from Allentown, Pa.

In his spare time, Mr. Pfeil can be found supporting the three major sports teams in Pittsburgh. He also is an avid poker player and can be found supporting Tiger Woods on the golf course any chance he gets!
