Meet Mrs. Weaver

This year I am beginning my 22nd year in education. Nineteen of those years have been in the Gahanna-Jefferson school district. In Gahanna I have been a primary grade teacher, mostly teaching second grade, and almost entirely at Chapelfield Elementary. This is my fourth year as an instructional coach. Though I miss the classroom dearly, I have truly been enjoying this new chapter in my education career.

An instructional coach is an "onsite professional developer who teaches educators how to use evidence-based practices and to support them in learning and applying these practices in a variety of educational settings.

I have been married to my wonderful husband for 18 years. We have two beautiful daughters, Leah and Lilly. Leah is a seventh grader and Lilly is in third grade. We also have the best dog ever, named Ruby! As a family we love to travel and be outdoors- even if it's just in our own backyard! I am a HUGE Ohio State Buckeye fan, and football is my favorite sport! I enjoy reading, interior decorating, and spending time with family and friends.
