About Me

Welcome to my webpage! I'm Ajay Kumar M, a dedicated academic and researcher with a deep passion for Computer Vision and Image Processing. I completed my PhD and MS from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), USA following my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India.

Currently, I hold the position of Deputy Director of the Research and Development Cell at GITAM, Bengaluru, where I also serve as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering (EECE). In addition to my teaching and research responsibilities, I contribute as the Board of Studies (BoS) Co-Chair for the department and also work closely with the School of Technology as the Institute Research Coordinator. These roles allow me to shape the academic curriculum and foster research initiatives that align with the latest industry trends and technological advancements.
