Tangaroa - God of the Sea

Who is Tangaroa? Well here is what I know about Tangaroa, he is the Maori god of the sea and all sea creatures that live in the sea. Tangaroa is one of many brothers, Haumia-tiketike, Whiro, Rongo-ma-Tane, Tane Mahuta, Tawhirimatea, Tumatauenga, and Ruaumoko .His parents are Ranginui and Papatuanuku, the gods of the earth and sky. Tangaroa also helped to supply food to everyone meaning people could eat to survive. Tangaroa is a great way to travel, that's even how Aotearoa was discovered. People also used Tangaroa to travel from island to island on wakas. Tangaroa is used everyday to help everyone all over the world.
