Tangaroa - God of the Sea
Tangaroa is a god of the sea. Tangaroa supplied people with food. Before the people come back on a boat from fishing, they sing a karakia to say thank you. Tangaroa can control shark, fish, crabs, and crayfish. Tangaroa makes some waves, but the wind god can make them as well. Tangaroa feeds people lots of seafood, so people can eat food to feed their family so people can live.
