Tangaroa - God of the Sea

Tangaroa was my classes inquiry topic, we even went to the museum just to learn more about him.

Tangaroa even had a song based about him! Would you want a song based on you? Imagine how cool that would be, the only bad thing is if they make it based in a bad way. We should be grateful for the ocean because it gives us all kai(food), it also gives us something to travel on, not only does it let us travel on it, it lets us play and swim in it. When you go fishing, remember to give back what you can't eat. When land people used the ocean to travel, they would give a gift and a karakia to Tangaroa, for safe travels. Tangaroa is the son of Rangi and Papa, he is also the opposite of Tane Mahuta, because Tane Mahuta is the god of the land, while Tangaroa is the god of the sea.
