Tangaroa - God of the Sea

Tangaroa is the god of sea or god of moana. Tangaroa is also in control of the creatures that live in the ocean. His parents are rangi and papa. Papa was the Guardian of the sky and Rangi was the Guardian of the land. Tangaroa became friends with all the sea creatures. He helped people get across the ocean to New zealand, the people were on a nicely carved waka. He was really helpful because he helped people catch more fish ika for other people's family and friends this helped people live because of all the food that he provided to all.
