Tangaroa has one son called Punga. Punga, your forefather is the god of ugliness, and all ugly things are his descendants. He has two children, Ikatere, the ancestor of fish, and Tū-te-wehiwehi the ancestor of reptiles.

Tangaroa is life saving and very dangerous at the same time, It lets us sail on it take fish from it and many other but when we dont look after it we can be in danger. Tangaroa also holds a lot of history and secrets hidden to the world.Tangaroa has two parent there names are Papa and Rangi.
