Auditions will take place Monday, August 25, Tuesday, August 26, and Thursday, August 28 from 3:25 pm - 5:00 pm.
To audition, you will need to sign up for a 5 minute time slot on one of those days. You will participate in the whole group audition from 3:25 - 3:40 and then your individual audition.
The audition sign-ups are located in the GMS gallery and will be posted on the first day of school.

In the audition, you will need to:
Bring the Legally Blonde Student Expectations handout -- completed and signed by yourself and a parent (you can download here or pick up a copy in the gallery)
Participate in a dance warmup (wear appropriate shoes)
Sing a song from Legally Blonde (see information below)
Read from the script for a role that you are interested in auditioning for (you don't need to know who you want to be in musical -- pick any part that looks interesting for the audition!). Please pick up audition selections in the gallery.
SONG SELECTIONS: Select ONE of the following songs to sing at your audition. Caitlin will help cue you in with the timing if you are unsure. You will be able to choose to audition with either the voices in the background or just the orchestra.
"Omigod You Guys (Part 1)" - Margot/Serena/Pilar/Kate/Kiki OR Ensemble (The entire song is there but you are only going to sing from 0:48 - 1:12)
"Serious (Part 1)" - Warner/Emmett/Callahan (NOTE: you can sing this "low" or "high" depending on your vocal comfort.)
"Whipped into Shape" - Paulette/Brooke/Vivienne
"So Much Better" - Elle Woods (if you are auditioning for Elle, you MUST sing this song in its entirety, without sheet music, and without the voices in the background. This is because Elle sings many songs in the show. Note, you do not need to sing the brief Chorus part)
