About Me

Hello, my name is Mrs. Hicklin. I have been an educator since 2001. Currently, I teach Elementary Music K-3 in Girard City Schools. Where I have been an instructor since 2017.

I graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Music where I majored in instrumental education. I received a Master of Music Education from Vandercook College of Music where I majored in Vocal Education. At Ashland University, I achieved a TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages) Endorsement which was added to my teaching license.

I married my wonderful husband, Shawn in 2007. Since then, we added three incredible kids to our family. Their names are Hannah, Jacob, and Alivia.
