About Us

The purpose of the Gilmer cheerleading program is to create and promote loyal school spirit, encourage quality performance, and maintain high academic standards through the development of spirit and cheer technique, leadership, cooperation, self-discipline, and sportsmanship in each individual athlete. Gilmer ISD cheerleaders will encourage their student body and their community through support and promotion of athletic and other events and activities which will inspire fellow students to perform to the best of their ability. 

Our cheer family works hard to support our school, promote spirit and to achieve our personal & squad goals.
