11-12 grade students can sign up for Spring 2027 courses at CVTC. They must fill out a Start College Now Application and turn it in before October 1st, 2026.
The application can be found online (https://www.cvtc.edu/sites/default/files/documents/admissions/college-credit-opportunities-in-high-school/start-college-now-application.pdf?refresh=1) or paper copies can be found in Ms. Grunseth's office.
Applications typically open on August 1st for the majority of colleges.
Deadlines for applications usually fall on Janurary 1st (however some go into late spring).
FAFSA opens on October 1st, 2026 to apply for federal aid for the 2027-2028 school year
The deadline is March 1st, 2027 for the 2027-2028 school year
This is a program by the Universities of Wisconsin that proactively offers early college admission to qualifying high school seniors at participating Wisconsin high schools without requiring a traditional application and fee
Direct Admit Forms are due on May 1st, 2027 for the Class of 2027 (This is only for students that filled out the opt-in form in May of 2026. Those students should have a got an email that helps them fill ou the Direct Admit form)
Opt-in/out elections due for Class of 2028 on May 1st, 2027 (Applications will be sent out at a later date)
Every scholarship has their own deadline
Deadlines for high school scholarships for seniors can range from Feburary 1st to May 1st
College scholarships's deadlines also vary from Janurary 1st to March 1st.
Juniors will take the ACT on March 18, 2027
Freshmen and Sophomores will take the Pre-ACT on March 18th, 2027
Grades 3 - 10 will be taking the Wisconsin Forward Tests in April
