Gillotts School Library

You can access the school library catalogue from the Freedom Home Page. Just click on the link. This link works from home and at school. You can search for books by author or title. The default is to find results by title/subject. If you want to find an author, just click on the option in the drop-down menu. You can also find this link on your school planner.

We subscribe to 'First News' in print format, available when school is open. The link for the online version is available when school is closed. If you have missed the link, please e-mail the Librarian Mrs Seddon: sseddon@gillotts.org.uk

If you want to reserve a book when school is open, click on the reserve option and use your computer school username to log in. If this does not work, please e-mail Mrs Seddon with details of books that you would like. Books will either be delivered to your tutor room, or when the school library is open as normal, you can come and collect them yourself.

We have an e-books package with Browns Books If you look on the website you need to do an advanced search and click in the 'ebook' box to find out if your title is available as an e-book. Please let Mrs Seddon know and these books will be bought on demand. Our library of e-books with Browns is here. This is where you access the books for reading on your device.
