Welcome to Second Grade
Karen Pallozzi
Hello Mesquite Families. I am thrilled to be part of the second grade team here. I graduated from The University of Massachusetts. I have lived here in Gilbert for 15 years and worked at Mesquite for 10 of them. It is a very special place to learn and grow.
When I have free time I enjoy spending it with friends and family. We like to go camping and hike new trails I am always in my happy place when I am at the beach or out on a run! I am looking forward to getting to know the students and having a great year together!

Hello Families! I am so excited to be your child's second grade teacher this year! Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I'm so lucky to be here at Mesquite!
I attended ASU and received my degree in Early Childhood Education. I then furthered my education at NAU to receive my Master’s degree.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, traveling, kayaking and going to the beach! I'm looking forward to a wonderful year!

Hello Mesquite Families! I am so grateful for the opportunity to be teaching your 2nd grader! This is my 25th year teaching at Mesquite Elementary!
I graduated from ASU with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and received my Master's in Education from NAU. Teaching has been my dream ever since I stepped foot in a classroom as a little girl. I LOVED my teachers and going to school, so I'm hoping to instill that same love of learning in your student too! Here's to happy learning and happy memories!
