Welcome to 5th grade ELA! 

I am a midwestern girl who was raised in Kansas City, Missouri. I received my degree in elementary education from Brigham Young University in 1996. This will be my 10th year teaching. I taught for five years in Utah (one year in fifth grade and four years in third grade), until I became a mom and decided to stay home to raise my children. After a very long break, I came back to work in 2019. This will be my 5th year teaching at Val Vista Lakes:)

I am married and have four beautiful children. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to movies, shopping, and going to lunch with friends. I love chocolate, the beach, the mountains, and being a teacher!
