My name is Linda Flake and this is my fifth year teaching Third Grade at Playa del Rey. I am a native Californian and now a proud Arizonan. I have a B.A. in Child Development and hold both a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and an Arizona Teaching Certificate to teach students grades K-8th grade and English as a Second Language. My previous experience as a para-educator in Special Education, working with students with mild to moderate disabilities in grades K-5, provided me with much experience and inspired me to work in general education where I can teach and include all students.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, cooking, watching movies, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my dear family and friends. The images above are two of my favorite places, the coast off of 17 Mile Drive in Pebble Beach and with my family at Papago Park.
