About Me

My name is Jennifer Church and I am honored to teach your child. I began my journey as an educator when I attended NAU for my bachelor's degree. Although I am originally from the west valley, I heard so many great things about Gilbert that I knew this was the place for me. I was lucky enough to be hired at Sonoma Ranch to teach all day kindergarten. I loved every minute of it and in those five years I learned many great tools that I would find to be useful in the years to come. Shortly after starting at Sonoma Ranch, I worked to earn my master's degree in curriculum development from NAU. Before long, I was ready to move on to teaching in the upper grades. After four years, I was asked to take on the new challenge of fifth grade where the curriculum and the age of the students is something I really enjoy. I have been at Sonoma Ranch for twenty three years now and truly think of this to be my second home. I'm lucky to have found a career that is also my passion. Thank you for entrusting your children to me.
