Mrs. McCormies' Corner

Hello! I'm Amber McCormies, the social worker at Val Vista Lakes Elementary. This is my fifth year as a school social worker. In the past, I have worked with in-home child development programs and as a medical social worker. I love being in the school setting and working with the kids at Val Vista Lakes!

We have another social worker Sheryl Soto who works Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday. Full-time social work coverage allows us to work one on one with students, run small groups, and help teach classroom presentations. Please reach out if you have any questions.
