I am an Arizona native and I have had the pleasure of being the School Social Worker at Spectrum Elementary since 2011. Prior to working at Spectrum I worked at Child Crisis Arizona for about 14 years. I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Arizona State University - Go Devils! I feel lucky to work with your students each day teaching social emotional lessons in their classrooms, facilitating small groups, and working with students on an individual basis.
As the School Social Worker, I am a resource for you and your family, whether it is helping to find resources in the community or providing consultation for concerns about your child. My role is to support your students' social and emotional needs so they can be successful at school and life. Students do best when families and school staff work together. I look forward to continue working in partnership with you to ensure that your child is successful.
On a personal note, I have an amazing husband and four school-aged children that keep me busy in my spare time. We love sports, family activities, exploring new places, the beach, the White Mountains, Disneyland, and hanging out with our friends and extended family! Of course, at our house, we are Disney and we are ASU!
