Mr. Caporaletti
6th grade
Playa del Rey has been my home for the past 14 years. I was fortunate to teach 5th grade for 10 years and the last four in 6th grade. My specialty courses are mathematics and science. I was born in Washington, D.C., and have been married for 35 years to Mrs. Caporaletti. I enjoy hiking, reading, building things, and cooking Italian food. In the mid 1990's, I spent time in Wyoming on the Laramie Plains, herding cattle on horseback, mending fences, and working on the ranch in the rain and snow and mud. Teaching came late in life to me after a 25 year career in the food/hospitality industry. I have enjoyed every minute of my time with all of my students and have encouraged them to aspire to more than they ever thought they could be. Every one of them has done so.
