All About Mr. Flannery
A little about me...
Hello everyone, my name is Shane Flannery and I teach 4th grade science and social studies at Playa Del Rey Elementary School. I am 27 years old and this is my first full year teaching. I love games of strategy and chance, and spending time with my family and friends.
I graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 2014 with a bachelor of arts in Psychology and Social Behavior. After working various jobs in education and traveling the nation to play Magic: The Gathering at a professional level I returned to school and got my Masters of Elementary Education from Arizona State University in December of 2018.

Remote Classroom Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
*I will do my best to be available during these times. I will check my emails frequently throughout the day and evening.
Virtual Learning Availability:
10:00 am - 2:00 pm Tuesday and Thursday
*During these times I will be logged on to Google Classroom and be available to all styles of virtual learning. A webex meeting room will be posted in our google classroom when I am ready each time.
