Hello! My name is Mrs. Sharp and I am super excited to be your teacher this year! We will have many new learning adventures. I cannot wait to get to know all about you, but first I’d like to share a few things about me...

I was born in Southern California but have lived in many different parts of California, and also Florida and Hawaii. I graduated high school and began college in the San Francisco Bay Area before transferring to Arizona State University. Go Sun Devils!! I have a bachelor’s degree from ASU and a Masters degree from University of Phoenix.

This school year will be my sixteenth year teaching. I taught 4th and 5th grade for 7 years in Tempe Elementary School District before taking three years off to stay home with my littles! This will be my ninth year teaching in Gilbert School District. I taught 2nd grade for four years before moving over to the library. I love teaching at Ashland Ranch. My own children have attended Ashland Ranch since they were in KPrep and preschool and I have been an active parent volunteer and involved with our PTSO. 

I cannot wait to meet you so we can start our learning journey together. I know this is going to be a stellar school year!
