Parents and Guardians:
Starting Monday, March 30, Desert Ridge Junior will be offering online/distance learning for the remainder of the statewide school closure. Beginning Monday, students can get access to materials and up-to-date information from their Google Classrooms. Students can access Google Classroom through their Chromebooks or by following the links below. Please note, if following the links below, they will need to be signed in to their gilbertschools.net Gmail account to access their Classrooms.

About Me
I started working at Desert Ridge Junior High School in January of 2015 teaching 8th grade English and Newspaper. When a position opened to teach Yearbook, I jumped at the opportunity. This year, I became one of the school's first Speech and Debate coaches and am also a member of the AVID Site Team for DRJH. AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) has been part of our schoolwide philosophy for over a decade, but we achieved National Demonstration Status during the 2017-2018 school year.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, travelling, antiquing, and spending time with my husband, son, and two dogs.
