About Me....Patricia Ubrig has been involved in music education in Arizona for 32 years. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Abilene Christian University and my Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance from Arizona State University. At the end of my degree at ASU, I was given the opportunity to work as a voice teacher at South Mountain Center for the Performing Arts High School in the Phoenix Union High School District, and the rest, as they say....is history! I was hooked! I have had an amazing career working with some of the finest young people in the land! This is my 13th year of teaching choral music at Mesquite High School. Oh how I love what we do everyday in our Choir Room!

I currently serve on the Arizona Choral Educators Board as the V-P of All-State Activities. I also served as the Conference Coordinator with the ACE President-Elect for two years. I enjoyed a time of singing with the Sonoran Desert Chorale, under the direction of Jeff Harris, and have sung in the Chorale at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, under the direction of Rita Scholz. I’m also involved in music with the youth at my church.

I am a happy mom of three children. I have an awesome husband of 30 years, and I am so thankful he has put up with my love for teaching music! I also LOVE being a Grammy to our sweet Zoey and Oliver!
