About me

Hello Dancers! My name is Lisa Hammond and I'm excited to have you in class this year.

I have my BFA in Dance from the University of Arizona and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University. I danced professionally for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and currently dance with Scorpius Dance Theater. I have also taught at Highland High School, New School for the Arts and Academics and Mesa Community College as well as being the Co-Artistic Director at Desert Star Dance.

Along with my husband, I have three amazing kids of my own, Taylor, Sydney and Jake as well as a wonderful step son, Porter. I have a crazy Goldendoodle pup, Charley and two cats Lily and Baxter.... they are my kids too! I'm excited to get to know you all as well. I love teaching dance; it is truly my passion!
