Meet The Team
We are fortunate to work with an amazing team of educators and support staff all working together to support your child. At Mesquite we focus on the whole child and work to meet each child where they are and help them grow into the best version of themselves.
While some see only three teachers, the whole school is actually working together to support your child. Below are some of the individuals your child may have an opportunity to work with.
ANGELA BLITCH
Mrs. B (formerly Ms. Curtiss) is thrilled to be on the 6th grade team this year. She has 13 years of experience teaching a variety of grade levels. Ms. B is a Mom to a 5th and 2nd grader. She is looking forward to another fun filled year with our awesome Mesquite families!
Nancy Linville
Mrs. Linville is one of the three grade-level teachers on the sixth grade team. She is a veteran teacher with over 16 years experience. She is a native of Kansas City and a fan of the KC Chiefs and KU Basketball teams. She and her husband have two adult children.
NiCKI COCHELL
Mrs. Cochell is excited to be one of the three 6th grade teachers. She has 5 years of experience as a classroom teacher, plus she spent the last 2+ years substituting at Mesquite and actively volunteering as a PTSO board member. She is Mom to a 6th grader and a 3rd grader at Mesquite and has been a part of the Mesquite community for 7 years!
