I've been teaching at Greenfield Elementary for many, many years. After teaching fourth and fifth grade for 15 years, I moved to the gifted program in 2006. I love the students and families of Greenfield - that is why I've stayed. I believe our students will learn best if they love school; I keep that in mind as I prepare appropriate and challenging lessons.
I grew up on a poultry and dairy farm in Idaho. My family moved to Gilbert the summer before my senior year of high school. I am a Gilbert High graduate. I received a business degree at ASU and worked a few years in business. As I made a career switch to education, I earned a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I enjoy hiking, fishing, and gardening. My wife and I have four children that attended and graduated from Gilbert schools. Our grandchildren are now attending Gilbert schools. We love our Gilbert community and home.
