GPS Run for Fun Mission

Connect, Create and Care for the promotion of healthy and active lifestyles in the Gilbert Public Schools community.

We are excited to announce our upcoming GPS Virtual Run for Fun on February 27, 2021! Bike, walk, run, jog, play - wherever you are with your family! You can even encourage friends and family from out of town to participate to expand the fun!

Here are the highlights:

And most importantly, we hope our students, their families, employees and community are inspired to take the time to engage in healthy and active ways by taking care of yourself and each other on February 27... and each and every day!

Theme: Connect, Create, Care... in the Community

  • Open to all K-12 GPS students, 1 submission per student please

  • Awesome prizes randomly drawn from all art entries!

      • First name: disc golf set

      • Second name: stainless steel water bottle

      • Third name: hydration backpack

  • Artwork may be identified by student first name, last name initial, grade and campus.

  • Deadline to submit artwork is Thursday, February 25.

  • Prizes will be drawn at random from all the submissions on Friday, February 26.

  • Prize winners will be notified by email.

  • Upload art file below (jpeg, pdf are examples of file types acceptable)

Founded in 2001, the Gilbert Education Foundation (GEF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to enrich, support, and promote innovation for the students and teachers of the Gilbert Public School District. Over the last 20 years, through events, grants, donations and corporate sponsors GEF has raised and contributed nearly $2.0M to students, staff and programs in Gilbert Public Schools. Programs include the social services S.H.A.N.E. program helping district staff and families in need, scholarships, varsity letter in volunteerism, innovation grants, STEM programs and enrichment.
