basketball Program

basketball

Our boys and girls basketball program combines clinic-like instruction and free play. It will feature a session-to-session teaching progression to develop the skills and teach the concepts that comprise a fundamentally-sound basketball player. Our goal is to create an environment where players feel comfortable going outside their comfort zone and making mistakes, while also nurturing confidence and skill development. Each session will feature an even distribution of instructional skill development and free play, which can include anything from one-on-one to five-on-five. As we discussed, we want these clinics to target athletes who are still at the beginning stages of their development and looking to improve their skills, while also gaining valuable playing experience. We want these clinics to be fast-paced, with less lecturing and more competition. One of our main focuses will be fostering engagement through small-sided games. More reps, more touches, less explaining, less standing in lines, and more learning. Our athletes should leave every session feeling like they not only got better, but also had a lot of fun.
