About Me

I am a speech/language pathologist that primarily works with our preschool students at Gilbert Elementary. I am a native of Arizona. I attended Arizona State University (Go Sun Devils!!), where I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in communication disorders. I am married and have 2 children. My son is 18 years old and my daughter is 16 years old. Our family loves attending sporting events, camping and traveling to the beach and mountains. Our kids also play sports and I love going to their games. Over the past 19 years, I have worked in early intervention (birth – 3), preschool, and elementary school (K – 6). This is my 13th year with Gilbert Public Schools. Preschool is my favorite age group. I am passionate about the skills we address at this stage of development and our service delivery model in the preschool program here in Gilbert Public Schools.

My favorite quote is “Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.” I’m fortunate to say that is true for me! I love what I do and it never feels like work!
