We would like to welcome everyone to the 2024-2025 school year and another great year for Coyote Athletics. Most of the Fall Sports begin on Monday, August 12th except for Cheer which will begin July 29th; Football and Cross Country begin on Monday August 5th.
Please read all the important information below for each specific sport detail on when they begin, along with the hyperlink email for the head coaches. This school year we will have a Freshmen Boys and Girls Tennis team in the fall (we will still have spring tennis and freshmen can still participate in spring tennis).
Athletic packets need to be completed on Register My Athlete by July 28th for anyone participating in fall sports.
Please mark your calendars for the ALL FALL SPORT PARENT MEETING Monday, August 19th 6:00 PM in the Auditorium, will break out to individual sports after a short presentation from Mr. Ragsdale. **Golf will have their parent meeting on Thursday, August 15th 6:00 PM in the Library.
2024-2025 Physical Forms - Physicals must be dated after March 1, 2024 for the school year 24-25.
Football (Coach Ryan Freeman) District Athletic fee will need to be paid before checking out equipment which is August 1st. We will start with the Varsity team during 7th hour and continue after school with JV and Freshmen.
Badminton (Coach Isabel Holloway) Practice begins Monday, August 12th 2:45-5:00 PM in the Mini Gym.
Cheer (Coach Christine Shea) Tryouts will be held July 29th-July 31st. July 29th will be a Dauntless Gym 7:00-8:30 PM. Tuesday and Wednesday will be at Campo in the Mini gym 5:00-7:00 PM. Athletic packets will need to be completed on RMA by Thursday July 27th. CVHS Cheer Interest Application will need to be completed to receive tryout material from Coach Shea, that application is due by July 15th.
Cross Country (Coach Josh Applebach and Coach Andy Jeanson) Practice begins Monday August 5th. Email Coach Applebach for practice information or check out their team website Run Campo.
Girls Flag Football (Coach Brian Coger) Tryouts will be August, 12th-15th from 3:30-5:00 PM on the East Practice Field and open to all girls grade 9-12. We are planning to have a JV team in addition to the Varsity team as well this year.
Boys Golf (Coach Zach Robinson) Tryouts begin Monday, August 12th and 13th Tryout sessions will be from 2:45-6:30 PM at Springfield Golf Course. Practice after the team is formed will be 3:00-5:30 PM. All practices will be held at Springfield Golf Resort - students will be responsible for their own transportation to practices and matches.
Girls Golf (Coach Tori Singer) Tryouts begin Monday, August 12th and 13th at Springfield Golf Course. There will be two sessions per tryout day and players will be required to be at both sessions both days. Times will be 3:30-5:30 PM. All practices will be held at Springfield Golf Resort - students will be responsible for their own transportation to practices and matches.
Swim & Dive (Swim: Coach Geoff Brisbin Dive: Coach Dave Eppert) begins Monday, August 12th, practices will be 3:00-5:00 PM. There will be a camp July 29th - August 1st 3:00-5:00 PM, there will be a bus that will take the students to Greenfield JH. They will need to be picked up at Greenfield JH at 5:00 PM.
Girls Volleyball (Coach Tayler Bader-Peterson) Tryouts begin Monday, August 12th. Two sessions Monday night 3:30-6:00 PM and two sessions on Tuesday night 3:30-6:00 PM in the Main Gym.
Freshmen Tennis (Boys: Coach Indy Stratta Girls: Coach Mitch Nielson) Pre-Season meeting for interested freshmen boys and girls tennis players will be Wednesday, August 7th 1:30 PM in the Library. Practices will begin on Monday, August 12th 2:30-4:30 PM, Wednesdays will be 1:30-3:30 PM.
