Background Information -

My name is Mary Carroll, my students call me "Miss Carroll". This is my 28th year of teaching for GPS, I taught Kindergarten for 8 years in the beginning of my career. I started teaching Amanecer Preschool at VVL in 2002. I do like the younger students the best, it is rewarding to watch them grow over the school year, some go on to Kindergarten and some stay with me a second year.

I live in VVL so I am able to ride my bike to school! My mother lives with me, she will be 99 years old this Fall. She has slowed way down from 5-6 years ago. She helps me take care of my 2 dogs- a Goldendoodle and a Boxer. I bought a motorhome in order to travel with my mom and the dogs. We take long trips during Fall and Spring Breaks, then we travel in the summer to see all the relatives east of the Mississippi River, that is a 6000 mile trip.
