My name is Mr. Seagraves and I am thrilled to share my passion for music and the development of young musicians. This year marks my 36th year with Gilbert Public Schools. I am now in my 34th year at Gilbert Elementary and my 17th at Ashland Ranch Elementary. In addition to my classes, I also serve as the District Department Chair for Elementary Band. I have a Master's degree in Instrumental Music from ASU and am a National Board Certified Teacher. My primary instrument is the French Horn and I perform regularly throughout the Phoenix area. My goals are to help every student learn good instrument technique, develop basic music reading skills, and have fun playing music in band. I live in Gilbert with my wife, who is also a music teacher, and my two kids who both play instruments. Please feel free to contact me as described below if you have questions about our band program.
