About me:
I was born on the East Coast, but I've called Arizona home for most of my life. And I can't imagine living anywhere else. I have four busy children of my own - three attend school at Desert Ridge High School, and one is a Meridian Mustang. I spent 20 years in the private sector in various industries and roles, however, teaching has always been my passion. I feel so lucky that it's now my career! I strongly believe classrooms should be fun, engaging, and innovative. My classroom is full of "alternative" seating and learning options for students. I love to motivate students to become the absolute best versions of themselves and to find their voice. We work hard, and play hard. The two traits I value above all are kindness and effort. Kind students who give learning their all can achieve amazing things!
