AR Test At Home!
*The goal is to keep our kiddos reading, nothing more.
*Use ARbookfind.com (www.arbookfind.com) to search for books you may have at home or students may use nonfiction articles that are available digitally in AR.
*If you do not have a lot of books at home, students can use StorylineOnline.com to LISTEN to books read to them! There is even a Storyline Online app if you are interested!
*When a student logs in, just as they do at school, there are 3 options: STAR Reading, Accelerated Reader, and Accelerated Reader Articles. Students choose “Accelerated Reader,” like always, to quiz on a book.
*A student can now also choose Accelerated Reader Articles (Grades 3-5). The article will then come up for them to read digitally and when ready, test.
*Students should stay in their AR color zones, or lower, for the most benefit.
*No reason to worry or be concerned with goals.
