Handwriting

In Te Ara Takitini we have both printing and cursive lessons.  Students are allocated a handwriting class (with one of the Takitini kaiako) based on their needs and where they are at.

Casey Caterpillar

Casey Caterpillar is a handwriting programme.  It uses a picture story book designed to introduce children to the shapes that comprise letters, as a prelude to handwriting instruction.

Cursive Writing

In Te Ara Takitini we use The Write Lesson - cursive lessons with the students learning cursive.
