About Early Voting 

EARLY VOTING:  In-Person or Mail-In


Arizona has 2 types  of Early Voting:

In-Person Early Voting   (Locations and dates will vary): 

Mail-In Ballot   (Mail-in ballot, Early ballot, and Absentee ballot are all the same thing) 

Any registered Arizona voter may vote early, either in-person or by mail-in ballot. 

If you wish to vote by mail, a Mail-in ballot must be requested.  You have the option of signing up for the Activet Early Voting List (AEVL), or of requesting a mail-in ballot for just the upcoming election.

Early In-Person Voting

If you wish to vote in-person, prior to Election Day,  simply go to  an Early Voting Location:


July 3, 2024 - July 25, 2024     8am -5pm Monday- Friday

Active Early Voting List (AEVL)

About AEVL

Voters on the Active Early Voting List (AEVL) automatically receive an early ballot by mail approximately  three weeks before any election in which they are eligible to vote.   

Once you choose to be included on this list, you will remain on this list until your registration is cancelled, mail sent to you is returned by the Postal Service marked undeliverable, or you request in writing to be removed from the list, whichever occurs first.

In order to be included on the Active Early Voting List, you must make a written request specifically asking to be on this list.  This may be done:


REQUEST AN EARLY BALLOT (Mail-In)

Voters who are  not on the PEVL may request an early ballot be mailed to them up to 11 days before an election.  

Early Ballot requests an be made:
