There are a number of steps to the debating registration. It is important that each student has a filled Trybooking, Edsmart and Google Form before the deadline for each form.

1. Trybooking  - all parents receive a Trybooking link via email, which remains open for a couple of weeks. This is to be filled in by parents and paid for by the due date.

2. Google Form - Shortly after payment has been made on Trybooking,  students are added to the Debating Google Classroom. Through this platform, students will be provided with a link to a Google Form. This form asks about their debating experience, teammate preferences, preferred competition (SADA/Debating SA) and division, in order to place them in the right division and team.

4. EdSmart - families of debating students receive an EdSmart form later in Term 1 to seek permission for participation in debating.

Students are then notified of their team, coach and division in late Term 1.
