Chapter Five
Island Where Magic Sleeps

Objective
The player has visited the Island of Magic. He is a researcher. He continues to explore the island in order to bring back the island's secrets for a presentation at an academic conference.
STEP 1：Water Summoning Magic
There was a puzzle written on the stone tablet.
Answer
There are three arrows. You advance the written alphabet by three. The correct answer is WATER.
If you solve the puzzle correctly, you will acquire the "Water Summoning Magic".
You use this magic to save the old lady, the only resident of the island, from a fire.
STEP 2：Fire Making Magic
You can't read the sign on the island.
Answer
The old woman who was saved from the fire should be able to read the sign. Take her out and have her read the sign.
There is a sign written to turn the peg to stop the boat 90 degrees. When you carry out this instruction, another stone tablet with a puzzle appears.
Answer to the puzzle on the stone tablet
First line: Initial letter when the day of the week is translated into English: ? = F
Second line: Order of alphabets with line symmetry: ? = I
Third line: Order of the alphabet: ? = R
Fourth line: Initial letter when 1 to 10 are translated into English: ? = E
The correct answer is FIRE.
When you solve the puzzle, you will acquire the "Fire Making Magic".
You can use this magic to burn a box without a keyhole and take out the contents.
In this box, there was a stone tablet written about the "Time Reversal Magic". You will acquire this.
STEP 3：Riddle of the Stone Tablet
By burning wood, you will reach the place where the stone monument was, which you could not enter because it was in the way.
A riddle is written on the stone monument. A silhouette of a bird is drawn there. When you ask the old woman about this, it seems to be a bird that only comes to this area during the day.
However, it is currently night. There are no birds.
Answer
You return to daytime with the "Time Reversal Magic". When you come back to the stone monument, the "Giant Petrel" has come.
It turns out that you only need to read the alphabet pointed out by the arrow by overlaying the stone tablet card and the Giant Petrel card.
The correct answer is OPEN.
When you get the correct answer, the stone monument starts to move. It seems to be a cave, and when you go inside, you will find out the secret of the island. This is the secret of the island that you wanted to bring back.
STEP 4：Detox
You have reached the secret of the island that you should bring back. However, at this point, the poison from a crab strikes you. It seems like you will die if you stay like this.
Answer
You need to use the "Time Reversal Magic" to go back before you ate the crab. Then, it seems like you can go back to before your boat was washed out to sea. As it is, you can escape the island.
If you escape at this point, you will reach the BAD END. This stage has multiple endings.
When you met the old woman on the island, she was in a fire. If you go back in time and escape from the island as is, you will not put out the fire.
LAST STEP：To Save the Old Woman
When you get off the boat, the boat is washed out to sea. There is no way to stop the boat. You can't put out the fire from the boat either. How can you save the old woman from the fire?
Answer
The "Time Reversal Magic" rewinds other events while leaving people's memories intact. The same was true for the old woman's memory. So,
First, let your boat drift out to sea. You teach the old woman the WATER magic, tell her to put out the fire after going back in time, and then return to the boat using the TIME magic.
With this, the old woman is able to put out the fire herself.
You've cleared the game.
However, that's not the only ending. There was something else you could do.
On this island, you were able to learn magic from stone tablets by solving riddles.
When you solved the riddle of the stone tablet, you came up with the answer OPEN. The stone tablet is also a stone. It turns out this was magic too.
You found the stone tablet of the Time Reversal Magic by burning the box with FIRE. Was the stone tablet the only thing in the box?
Go back before you burn the box and say OPEN to open the box. In addition to the stone tablet, there was a wooden biography inside.
This is how you were able to obtain an additional secret of the island.
In this flagged state, teach the old woman WATER and escape from the island. This is the true end.
