Purpose
Purpose
The NHS program empowers and equips GIHS students with the knowledge and skills to be transformative leaders in our school, community, and beyond. In addition, it provides a necessary bridge between students and school leaders—helping to engage and hear what students think, feel, and need.
IMPORTANT DATES FOR 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR:
9/25/25: Letters mailed home to students that have met initial criteria for consideration
9/30/25: Student Info Meeting in Room 166 at 2:30pm
10/10/25: Application, Service Verification Form and Coach/Advisor Evaluations forms due
10/17/25: Decision letters mailed home
10/28/25: Induction Rehearsal in Viking Theater at 2:30pm
10/30/25: Induction Ceremony at 7pm
