Write down the Author's last name. (The first three letters are called the Call Number)
Find the Fiction Section. It is on the right wall.
Find the first letter of the Call Number in the Library
Find the full Call Number in the Library
If necessary, find the author's full last name
Within their name, the books are in release order

Located at the entrance to the Loft
Organized by Topic (Dewey Decimal System)

Find the Dewey Decimal Number (see chart below)
Take the number on the left (This is the Call Number)
Go to the section of the hundreds place
Within section that section, find the tens place
Within that section, find the ones place
Use the author's last name to locate them
Within that name, the books are in release order
