Meet your School Counselor and Social Worker! 

Hello Germantown Hills families! My name is Morgan Perez, MSW and I am the Middle School Social Worker for grades 5-8. I graduated from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville with a major in Psychology and minor in Business. I then earned my master's degree in social work from the University of Illinois. 

Though this is my first year working at Germantown Hills #69, I have been in school social work for 16 years. I have worked with students ranging from early childhood through high school. I have a passion to empower students and their families to discover their inherent worth and value! I look forward to serving this district in various ways and am honored to be part of the team!

 My husband and I have 3 children and spend most of our time practicing and/or watching them all play the various sports they participate in!

Hi! My name is Stephanie Hensley, MA and I am the Elementary School Counselor, grades K-4. I earned my Undergraduate at Eureka College and received my Bachelors of Science with a major in Psychology and a minor in Leadership.  After finishing my degree I served with AmeriCorps Peoria for six months and this ultimately lead me to my Masters program. I attended Missouri Baptist University and earned my Masters in Professional School counseling K-12.  

I am thankful  for the opportunity to work at GHMS. I am a Metamora graduate, class of 2010, and the area has always felt like home for me.  I am looking forward to working with you and your child!
