Dear Parents
Can you believe it? We are almost at the end of the year! What a fantastic year we've had. I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support and especially my team for all their hard work. We started the year with a "Weak" rating and have ended it with "Acceptable" with many elements of "Good" There will be many more upgrades to "Good" next inspection as we are already doing them but we needed time to show they are 'embedded' in the school culture. A massive 'Thank You' to the team!
As we move closer to the finish line please note that our after-school clubs/activities ended this week so all children will finish at 2.40.
This will be our last newsletter of this academic year, but don't worry your teacher will still be using Seesaw to keep you informed. Have a lovely summer break and I'll see you all in August!

WELLBEING
Dear Parents,
It was an incredible journey for all of us this year. We started with a target of moving the school to the next level and WE DID IT. Though it looked impossible in the beginning, by the consistent effort of the TEAM we could achieve it in a short time. We can now proudly say that we are rated ‘Acceptable’ with great potential to be rated as a GOOD soon.
I am also proud to say that all most all of our students have achieved good results in our External benchmarking assessments from GL. We would be sharing the reports of your child soon along with our end of year reports.
I personally thank all of our parents, students, teachers and the all-other members of the school community for their support and encouragement to us as leaders of the school. I request you all to continue your support to improve the school to the next level in the upcoming academic year. As we are approaching the summer break, I wish all of you wonderful time with your family.

What we've done
We are nearing the end of our Outta Space class project, and the children have thoroughly enjoyed the theme. They have learned so much about the planets in our solar system, as well as other fascinating features of space like nebulae and solar flares!
This week, we focused on Emirati astronauts, discussing the role of an astronaut and why space suits are essential for space walks. The children had a lot of fun watching astronauts eat and drink on the International Space Station and participating in our own gravity experiment.
We also watched a rocket launch, learning how rockets are able to launch into space and what they need. The children discovered that a rocket consists of a shuttle and a booster, which detaches after launch. Together, they created their own rockets and astronaut helmets!
In writing, we talked about what we would need to pack if we were going to space, imagining the contents of our space suitcase. The children enjoyed reading the story "Luna Muna" and practicing their comprehension skills. There was even a special request to go to space on our next school trip!
In mathematics, we have been practicing subtraction by taking away from larger groups and applying these skills through a fun supermarket shopping story and solving everyday math problems. Next week, we will focus on manipulating and constructing shapes.
We also went on our school social this week to Bounce! The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves, taking part in group activities and games and working together to solve problems. They enjoyed a hearty and well deserved lunch and ice cream before heading back to school for a relaxing story time.
It has been a whirlwind of year with our Foundation Stage children, they have worked incredibly hard and enjoyed every minute of our projects. They have shone their brightest this year and we are incredibly proud at how far they have come. It is wonderful to see all of our FS2 children now readers, writers and mathematicians heading off to year one and our FS1 children who have surprised us every step of the way with their reading and writing skills.
We will have a transition day at the end of the month for our FS2 children so that they can have a look at the year one class and meet the new teaching team.

Year 1

What we've done
What a strange week we've had in Year 1 this week. On Monday we completed our Maths summer assessments and on Tuesday all the children started getting sick so I don't have much to report this week. For those children that were in school, we revised some topics that we have covered throughout the year and started preparing some props for our end of year assembly.
I am so proud of each and every child in the class and was delighted to see the amazing progess being evident in their GL exams. It has been a pleasure teaching them this year and I look forward to having some fun with them in the coming weeks with our School trip and our splash party.

Year 2
We have had another exciting and busy week this week with assessments and after a busy week with assessments the children enjoyed a well deserved day at Adventure park. We have had a fantastic year and look forward to the splash party next week. I would like to take this opportunity to say how proud I am of the achievements and progress made by year two.

Year 3
Well done to Year 3 for completing their final assessments of the year. It has been an absolute pleasure to see them all grow, flourish and excel ! Thank you to the families for showing continuous support through out the year and we are excited to watch the children continue their hard work.
This week the children have been busy with revision and exams but were rewarded with a very exciting trip. They had lots of fun completing the different obstacles at the adventure park and some even ventured out and tried the rollercoaster ride. We then ended the week with a non-uniform day followed with a bake sale. Thank you to the families who contributed and sent in delicious food, it was a lovely turn out.

Celebrating a Fantastic Year!
As we approach the end of another incredible school year, I am excited to share some highlights and celebrate our students' remarkable achievements. The children have excelled in their learning, showing tremendous growth and dedication.
This week, we completed most of our final assessments. I am proud to report that the children have demonstrated excellent recall and understanding of what they were taught throughout the year.
A special mention goes to our Year 5 students, who had an amazing day at Adventure Park. They participated in various activities and created lasting memories with their friends, filled with laughter and joy.

This week we had assessment week all students gave their Spanish assessment by doing writing and listening in the assessment which make them more confident and independent in with their Spanish knowledge . Apart from that this year student learned so many concepts and they push their limits by doing research work , scavenger activity or other class based activities it really help them and make them more fluent and confident in writing , listening and speaking in Spanish . Keep supporting and encouraging your child to learn languages . Muchas gracias for your support .

What we've done
It's a busy week for everyone in our STREAM class. The children in FS learnt basic encoding using ScratchJr. Our students in years 1 and 2 enjoyed designing and creating various toys from recyclable materials. The years 3 through 8 have been busy programming robots using interactive Lego Spike Kits and encoding games and stories using Scratch.
It has been a fun-filled school year for everyone. It's my joy to have taught your children this year. They've all worked hard with their friends and peers this school year. Thank you for your support. All these will not be possible without your help.
