Bienvenue! The mission of the Colorado-Wyoming Chapter is to support French teachers by promoting the exchange of ideas and resources relating to Francophone cultures and the French language. In addition, the chapter strives to build community among members. Each year the Colorado - Wyoming Chapter aims to offer its members several professional development and social events. Additionally, programing for students provides opportunities to grow their learning interests and gain a sense of connection, with events such as the Soirée chez l'Avalanche du Colorado and Manie musicale de mars. The chapter also collaborates with several local organizations with shared interests such as l'Alliance Française de Denver, Denver Sister Cities International, and the Rocky Mountain French American Chamber of Commerce. Finally, COWY promotes the professional development, awards and scholarships, and events organized at the national level of the AATF. Communications regarding French events in the Colorado-Wyoming region are posted here on this website as well as emailed in a quarterly newsletter.
