Talking to your children about divorce
If the following symptoms persist or get worse several months following the divorce/separation, it may be a sign that your child could use additional support.

Sleep problems
Poor concentration
Trouble at school
Drug or alcohol abuse
Self injury, cutting, or eating disorders
Frequent angry or violent outbursts
Withdrawal from loved ones
No longer interested in loved activities
