Large Group Choir Festival

All seventh and eighth grade G-E-T music students, along with Middle and High School bands and choirs from seven area school districts, traveled to Whitehall and took part in the Wisconsin School Music Association’s Large Group Festival.  Bands and choirs performed in front of three judges, had a clinic, received feedback and were given a rating based on their performance.  Students also had the opportunity to listen and evaluate the performance from another school from our area.

G-E-T Middle School has taken part in this festival for many years, dating back at least to the early 1960’s.  This is the longest running core program for the WSMA, dating further back than their incorporation in 1932!

Both the band and the choir performed beautifully, and were given top ratings from each of the judges.
