At a leisure destination, guests arrive in different ways and at different times, and they may be distracted by everything else around them. A clear journey keeps them with you from arrival to the final photo.
Share MRT, bus, taxi and parking guidance in the invitation.
Arrange a coach drop-off point if you are transporting groups.
Place clear directional signage from the main entrances to your space.
Station a greeter at the point where guests are most likely to get lost.
Registration is the first brand touchpoint. Keep it quick, use branded lanyards or wristbands, and hand out a simple map or programme. If you are collecting data for follow-up, ask only for what you will use.
After the reveal, guests need somewhere to go. Common zones include:
Trial stations staffed by people who know the product.
A photo moment with the product and clear branding.
An information point for questions, sign-ups or orders.
A refreshment area where guests can talk and stay longer.
Space the zones so queues at one do not block another, and make sure each has a clear purpose linked to your objective.
If children are coming, plan activities for them close to the main area, and check that the programme and content are suitable for all ages. Parents stay longer when children are occupied.
Any outdoor element needs a covered backup. Agree with the venue when the decision to move indoors will be made and who makes it.
